MPDB Logo
The current logo was sent in by John Schumacher:
The logo design incorporates several aspects of the field of metamorphic petrology in a very clever way. The letter "M" is constructed to look two mountains (part of an orogenic belt) and also as the Al2SiO5 triple point. The "P" is looped with a P-T path (Barrovian, of course!!). Kudos to JCS for cleverness.
