== MPDB Logo ==
The current logo was sent in by [wiki:WorkingGroup John Schumacher]:

The logo design incorporates several aspects of the field of [http://www.cartage.org.lb/en/themes/sciences/earthscience/geology/RocksandMinerals/Metamorphic/Metamorphic.htm metamorphic petrology] in a very clever way. The letter "M" is constructed to look two mountains (part of an [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orogeny orogenic belt]) and also as the Al,,2,,SiO,,5,, [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triple_point triple point]. The "P" is looped with a P-T path ([http://csmres.jmu.edu/geollab/fichter/MetaRx/Barrovian.html Barrovian], of course!!). Kudos to JCS for cleverness.
